RODI Design Team's Award-Winning Sink Combines Functionality and Aesthetics

The INVICTUS sink is a unique and versatile design, born from the combination of a dream bowl and a multifunctional rack. It features a retractable tap, a rectangular valve with an extractable cover, and overflow. The design's standout feature is its majestic look, enhanced by the 40mm height of the bowl, which creates an alternative design. The design also includes a dishwashing supporting area that adds practicality and glamour.

INVICTUS is a flexible solution that helps organize and store wet dishware in an extremely functional way. The design is made from AISI 304 18/10 Stainless Steel, welded and bended. The total dimensions of the sink are 790mm in width and 505mm in height. The bowl dimensions are 400mm in width, 400mm in height, and 200mm in depth.

The design of this sink is the result of intensive research and a response to the need for two main functions of the product: washing and draining dishes. The main objective was to create a product that would simplify these functions and meet the tendencies and requirements of the market. This was achieved by following architectural, straight, and minimalist forms.

Some of the challenges faced during the design process included the manufacturing process, welding of the frame to the bowl, and welding of the draining rack. Despite these challenges, the RODI design team was successful in creating a product that is not only functional but also aesthetically pleasing.

In conclusion, INVICTUS is a testament to the RODI design team's ability to combine functionality and aesthetics in a sink design. This design, which has been recognized with the prestigious Golden A' Furniture Design Award, is a perfect example of how innovation and design can transform everyday objects into works of art.
